Who is Sassy Mei?
Established in 2008, Sassy Mei is a traveling, chic boutique held in spec homes and other upscale businesses throughout the Northwest. The “traveling boutique” consists of several talented and classy small businesses and artisans. These boutiques are open to the public and feature a broad range product – from home décor, designer clothing samples and accessories, to gourmet food, kitchen items, crafts and children’s items – each show is unique and has a little something for everyone.
In addition to promoting outstanding Northwest artisans in a boutique-type setting, Sassy Mei may be utilized as a marketing tool for businesses looking to increase foot traffic, build awareness, generate demand and interest, and gain general business exposure.

How often are your boutique shows held?
We typically hold 5-6 events each year and plan them around holidays, i.e. Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Halloween and Christmas.
How many artisans or vendors do you accept for each show?
20-30 for one-day events and 60-80 for multi-day events
What type of vendors do you accept?
We pick product that is appealing to our demographic target: women ages 20-50, young families and teens
Do vendors staff their own booths?
We ask each vendor to volunteer 1-2 hours each show to help welcome customers or assist at the cashier station. We operate a central cashier at each show and do not require vendors to stay at the show.
What are your fees?
In general there are two types of fees: booth and commission fees. Booth fees: $15-$80 depending on show length and booth size. Commission fees: 18% commission is retained on all product sales.
How do you advertise?
Advertising and promotion strategy depends on the particulars of the event including location, season, size of event, etc. Generally, we approach each show with a balanced marketing mix of email, Facebook, twitter, postcards, newspaper inserts, newspaper ad, posters, fliers in local businesses, banners and directional signs to the show.
